back again....
After the Encounter with irritating Day Manager Guy, I headed up to the room. 3rd floor room number 379.....ooo a view of seventh ave. Which to be honest is a really wide street, although a New York landmark-Carnigie Hall, was literally opposite the hotel.
However.....the Air Con in the room was non-functioning. Dead,Kaput!. And it was really Hot- but more about that later.
So guess what....yup, back down to talk to Day-Manager Guy!!! Woohoo a second chance to talk to Mr Happy-go-Lucky....This is rapidly turning into a really BAD start. :(
After another Joyful and enjoyable conversation taking around 10min, the room was changed.
7th floor- a $90 upgrade on the room for free..... :D
Found the room, 749- ooo marked in brail as well.- Opened the door dragged the case in and sat down. After 19hrs total travel time i was Finally able to stop..... AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Yes, 19hrs in total. 4hrs for the coach to Gatwick, 3.5 hrs hanging round Departures, 7.5 hr flight(15hrs so far) 3hrs in total for passport control and baggage claim and 1hr ish :) for travel to hotel......sheesh, tired? Oh yeah!!!!
I realised by this point that I was very hungry, and i needed a cigarette. Badly!!!!
So grabbed $10 and wandered out onto the streets.............................
